Like a game of telephone, with each print, the stencil breaks down a little more, creating a unique print each time. Each print is a limited edition, handmade, original work of art.
These works are considered "multiple originals." Each print inevitably comes out unique with its own character, and given the process, new colorways are an exciting way to extend and transform the life of each design, as well as entertain her passion for color. The stencils have a limited lifetime. About thirty prints can be achieved with simpler designs, and often only about five prints with more elaborate pieces. The temporary nature of the stencil prints is a unique facet of her practice, and pushes her to constantly evolve and create fresh designs.
